The latest version of Windows, i.e Windows 10 comes with different features, controls, and user interface, it is a bit confusing for some people.

Uninstalling programs from Control Panel on the Windows operating system is a very quick and easy method. In order to uninstall a program from the Control Panel, you need to open it.
There are several other ways to open Control Panel than the one that I’ve discussed in this section.

Let’s go ahead and learn to uninstall programs on Windows 10 from Control Panel.
Step:1– Press Win + X
Step:2– Click “Control Panel“. It will open.

Step:3– Control Panel is a section you can go to control the whole PC. Whether you want to change System and Security settings, switch to other User Account, change Network Settings, Appearance or control clock, and stuff. Everything can be done from the Control Panel. To uninstall a program, go to “Programs“.
Step:4– Click “Uninstall a program” under “Programs”

Step:5– You will have a list of all the programs installed on Windows 10. Select the program you want to uninstall and hit the “Uninstall” button. In the below screenshot, Mozilla Firefox is selected.

Step:6– The uninstall wizard will open. Follow on-screen instructions and you will be able to uninstall a program on Windows 10 easily.
For example, if we have to uninstall Mozilla Firefox, select it and hit “Next“. It will take some time to complete uninstall.



So now you know the basic procedure to uninstall programs on Windows 10. You can now uninstall any program as long as you are able to open the Control Panel.

How to Uninstall Programs on Windows 10 from Action Center
There is another method to uninstall programs/apps on Windows 10. In the case the Control Panel method doesn’t work, you may give it a try. Here is how to go about it.
Step:1– Click the Windows Notification icon and then chose “All settings”

Step:2– It will open the settings. You change settings of various programs or computer settings such as mouse speed, date & Time, desktop wallpaper & theme, etc.
Step:3– Go to “Systems”

Step:4– Go to “Apps & features” and it will list all the apps/programs installed on Windows 10.

Step:5– Chose the program/ app you want to uninstall. Once you select the program that you want to uninstall, an “Uninstall” button would appear. Click it to uninstall this program.

There are several ways you can get into “All settings” through.
- Click Start Menu and select “Settings”
- Go to Cortana Text box and type “Settings” Click it to open.
- Voice command Cortana to open settings.
- Win + I
- Open File Explorer > This PC > Computer from top Menu > Open settings
Uninstall Programs from Start Menu
This is the easiest and shortest method to uninstall a particular program from Windows 10. Here is how you can about it:
Step:1– Click Start Menu.
Step:2– It will list the “Most used” Program. If the program you want to uninstall on Windows 10 is listed here, Right Click it and chose “Uninstall” That’s all!

Step:3– If the program is not listed in Most used items, go to “All Apps” and look for the program you want to uninstall. Right-click and uninstall.
